Dr. Galanza is a board-certified ophthalmologist and glaucoma specialist. She is a graduate of the University of Sto. Tomas Faculty of Medicine and Surgery. She completed her residency training in Ophthalmology at the Far Eastern University –Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation Institute of Medicine. She completed a fellowship in glaucoma at the Philippine General Hospital. She is a fellow of the Philippine Academy Ophthalmology
