Dr. Evangeline Bascara-dela Fuente is a board-certified psychiatrist. She obtained her medical degree from the University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center and completed her residency training in General Psychiatry at the Philippine General Hospital, University of the Philippines Manila. She received further training in Cognitive Behavior Therapy at the Beck Institute for Cognitive Behavior Therapy in Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania, USA. In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Bascara-dela Fuente is actively involved in health professions education, specialty training for psychiatrists, and action research. She holds a Master’s degree in Hospital Administration from the Ateneo Graduate School of Business and a Doctorate in Health Professions Education from the National Teachers’ Training Center for the Health Professions, University of the Philippines Manila.
