Dr. Cruz is a board-certified surgeon, specializing in Thoracic, Cardiac, and Vascular Surgery. She is a graduate of the University of the Philippines College of Medicine. She completed his residency in General Surgery and fellowship in Thoracic, Cardiac, and Vascular Surgery at the University of the Philippines Philippine General Hospital. She pursued further training as a Fellow in Endovascular Surgery, Mahidol University-Siriraj Hospital, Bangkok, Thailand.
