Dr. Jonnel B. Poblete received his MD and PhD in Molecular Medicine from the University of the Philippines Manila College of Medicine. He finished his Residency in Internal Medicine and Fellowship in Infectious Diseases in the Philippine General Hospital where he also served as the Department Chief Resident and Chief Fellow. He is a Fellow of the Philippine College of Physicians and a Diplomate of the Philippine Society for Microbiology and Infectious Diseases. He provides holistic care for patients with complex infectious disease problems, including infections in immunocompromised hosts, sexually transmitted infections, HIV, and tuberculosis. He also provides consultations on adult vaccinations, antibiotic prophylaxis, animal bites, travel medicine, outpatient antibiotic therapy, and LGBTQIA+ health.
