Dr. De Guzman is a board-certified ophthalmology and glaucoma specialist. She is a graduate of the University of the Philippines College of Medicine. She completed her residency training in ophthalmology and a fellowship in oglaucoma at the Philippine General Hospital. She pursued further training in glaucoma at the Sydney Hospital and Sydney Eye Hospital. She is a fellow of the Philippine Academy of Ophthalmology and a board membder of the Philippine Glaucoma Society.
